Description / Scope of Work
A public sector organization is inviting sealed tenders from pre-qualified and security-cleared civil works contractors for the construction of Work Package 01 at a site near Karachi, Federal Province. The estimated project cost is Rs. 225 million with a completion period of 18 months. This tender is open to eligible civil works contractors who meet the specified security and qualification criteria. Pre-bid meetings are scheduled for 01-10-2026 at 1000 hours, with financial bid submission deadline on 08-10-2026 at 1030 hours and opening on 08-10-2026 at 1100 hours. The tender process follows standard public procurement guidelines with transparent evaluation mechanisms and authority reserved to reject any or all proposals.
Bidders must submit a fixed bid security amounting to Rs. 4.00 million in the form of CDR or bank guarantee from scheduled banks of Pakistan, valid for at least six months from bid opening date and bearing the Director Finance Works endorsement. All bidders opting for bank guarantees must ensure the guarantee is issued in favor of the organization. Tender documents can be obtained during working hours (0900 to 1000 hours) Monday to Friday from the office in Islamabad against a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000. Two copies of BOQ (one original and one photocopy) must be submitted with both copies pre-signed, stamped and clearly identified on the envelope alongside the tender. Rates must be written in both figures and words in separate columns, with word rates prevailing in case of conflict.
Bid security must be enclosed in a separate sealed envelope clearly marked with the work name. Tender documents are available for download at www.ppra.org.pk. The Tender Evaluation Committee reserves the right to demand rate analysis to verify responsibility and workability. Incomplete proposals will not be entertained and treated as non-responsive.
