Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for renting out one printing and composing shop measuring 18 feet by 12 feet located within the university premises at Campus-I. The minimum annual rent for the shop is Rs. 2,276,496 with an annual increase of 10 percent per annum. This procurement is advertised under single stage single envelope method as per PPRA rules 2014, with the shop available for a probationary period of six months initially, extendable to three years if services prove satisfactory. The scope includes operation of a commercial printing and composing facility serving the university community within Punjab province.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Department as active tax filers, economically sound with at least three years relevant experience in printing and composing operations. Bidders must submit an affidavit confirming they have not been blacklisted or debarred by any procuring agency or PPRA. Bid security of Rs. 113,825 (5 percent of estimated annual rent) must accompany each bid in the form of demand draft, pay order or call deposit receipt made payable to Treasurer Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. Selected party must deposit Rs. 500,000 as security and pay 10 percent income tax in advance on the lease value as per section 236(A) of Income Tax Ordinance.
