DHQ Teaching Hospital Narowal invites prequalification and registration as LPDD (Local Purchase of Drugs/Medicines) vendors for the supply of national, multinational and imported medicines, medical devices, surgical disposable items and implants on a day-to-day basis for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is valid for 30 September 2027 with free delivery to DHQ Teaching Hospital Narowal. The hospital seeks eligible vendors to supply pharmaceutical products and medical equipment meeting specified quality and regulatory standards. Interested bidders must be located within 10 km radius of the hospital; however, the Executive Director and Medical Superintendent may jointly recommend relaxation of this radius up to a maximum of 20 km to the SHC&MI Department, which will decide within 7 days.
Pharmacies holding a valid Drug Sale License issued by the competent authority and possessing minimum one year experience in sale of drugs, medicines and medical devices are eligible to register as LPDD vendors. Bidders must submit technical bids to qualify for supply contracts with the hospital. Multinational and imported medicines require minimum 6 percent discount on MRP; national firm medicines require minimum 10 percent discount on MRP; and medical devices, surgical disposables and implants with MRP require minimum 15 percent discount on MRP. Items without MRP shall be quoted based on P&TC hospital market survey rates with minimum 15 percent discount. Bidders must provide a performance guarantee of rupees 50,000 in the form of bank draft, bank guarantee or call deposit receipt, demand draft, pay order or banker's cheque.
Bidding documents containing detailed specifications and terms and conditions in English are available immediately after publication date and may be downloaded from Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at http://ppra.punj.ab.gov.pk or the Punjab e-procurement system at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. E-bids must be submitted online on or before 30 September 2026 at 11:00 am through the Punjab e-procurement system. Bidders are encouraged to register on the platform for participation. Hard copies of e-bids are not required. All e-bids submitted by the stipulated date and time will be opened on the same day at 11:00 am in the presence of bidders' representatives. Bid validity is 180 days from the date of opening. Further information may be obtained from the office of the Medical Superintendent before the e-bid opening date during working hours.
