Description / Scope of Work
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Quetta Zone is inviting bids for the provision of janitorial and non-core services across FIA Quetta Zone premises comprising Naib Qasid, Frash and Chowkidar positions for a contract period of two years. The services cover all facilities at FIA Headquarters in Quetta, Balochistan province, and require deployment of skilled and unskilled personnel to deliver professional, efficient and satisfactory cleaning and maintenance services. The scope of work encompasses daily sweeping and mopping of all floors, rooms, offices, cabins, corridors and staircases, removal of dust and debris from all areas, regular cleaning and disinfection of washrooms at least every two hours during office hours, cleaning of windows and doors both inside and outside, vacuum cleaning of carpeted areas, removal of cobwebs, cleaning of light fixtures and air-conditioner grills, collection and disposal of litter and garbage, maintenance of dustbins and garbage collection points, cleaning of drains and drainage points, and floor care and polishing. Terrazzo, marble and tiled floors shall be machine-polished at least once every three months and buffed at least once every 15 days. The contractor must deploy a total of 16 workers comprising seven Naib Qasid, two Cooks, one Chowkidar and six Sweepers, all aged between 18 and 25 years with minimum primary education. All workers must wear clean proper prescribed uniforms and identification cards bearing name, photograph and other identification details, with janitorial staff wearing vests marked JANITORIAL STAFF. Normal working hours are 08 hours on all working days with at least one janitorial worker remaining available until 6:30 PM daily and Naib Qasid and Chowkidar remaining present after hours as assigned. The contractor must provide all consumable materials at own cost including phenol, disinfectants, cleaning liquids, soaps, sprays, dusting cloths, mops, brushes, wax and polishing materials, garbage bags and sanitisation materials. All machinery, tools and equipment required for service execution shall also be arranged and maintained by the contractor at own cost. The contractor shall ensure uninterrupted availability of personnel and materials throughout the contract period and maintain 24/7 availability during special events, emergencies or as specifically required by FIA.
