Description / Scope of Work
The Metropolitan Corporation Lahore invites prequalification applications from eligible contractors, suppliers and service providers for hiring of various services over an initial period of one year, extendable to two further years. The procurement covers five main categories: temporary lighting and generators (PKR 950 million), furniture, tentage, canopies, waiter services and air conditioning arrangements (PKR 400 million), refreshment packages and catering services (PKR 100 million), office stationery and general-purpose items (PKR 120 million), and IT equipment (PKR 100 million). These services will support National and Religious Events, public meetings, arrival of local and foreign delegations, cricket teams, and government meetings in Lahore, Punjab. The total estimated contract value across all lots is PKR 1,670 million. Applicants may participate in one or more lots of their choice.
Eligible applicants must be registered with relevant authorities and comply with all criteria specified in the prequalification document. The prequalification and subsequent bidding process shall be conducted entirely online through the Punjab e-Procurement System in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 and guidelines issued by the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). All applications must demonstrate financial capability, technical competence and prior experience in their respective service categories.
Prequalification proposals must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk) on or before 02 October 2026 by 10:30 AM. Proposals will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of applicants or their authorized representatives. The prequalification document is available on the PPRA website (https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk) and the Punjab e-Procurement portal. Applicants should ensure timely submission as application submission on the e-Procurement website remains entirely the responsibility of the prospective bidder.
