For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Central Ordnance Depot seeks unmanned aerial systems and counter-drone detection equipment, a specialized defence procurement.
The four line items span tactical delivery drones (4–6 kg), surveillance platforms, and heavy-lift systems (35–40 kg), plus handheld detection capability—suggesting layered operational requirements. Scale is undetermined as quantities were redacted from this notice; expect relatively modest unit numbers typical of Pakistan Army equipment trials. Key constraint: mandatory personal collection of specs from Local Purchase Branch before submission, adding procedural friction. This appears a one-off procurement rather than framework contract.
Who can bid: Bidders must be OEM, authorized agent, or distributor registered with FBR (Active Taxpayer List), income tax and sales tax authorities, and Pakistan Engineering Council. Registration with DGDP, DGP-A, or a Pakistan Army Ordnance Depot is mandatory. Typically, import-based vendors require valid import license and technical authorization from the original manufacturer.
