PSO seeks two new commercial delivery vans for its MQTU field operations network in Karachi.
This is a one-off capex procurement with tight specification requirements for cargo-hauling vans, implying vehicles need interior space fitted for point-of-sale or service equipment. The stipulation that suppliers must be OEM-authorized with servicing networks across Pakistan effectively rules out grey-market dealers. Registration and service charges quoted separately, requiring familiarity with provincial vehicle registration procedures. Modest order size (two units) suggests this may be a pilot or expansion phase.
Who can bid: Suppliers must be OEM authorized distributors or dealers with demonstrable authorized service centers and spare parts availability in major Pakistani cities. Typically, automotive dealers are required to register with the relevant provincial transport authority and maintain valid business registration. No specific PEC category applies; dealer registration with SECP or provincial commerce department is expected.
