Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Irrigation Department, Gujrat Canal Division, is inviting sealed bids for two separate surveillance, watch and ward contracts for flood infrastructure and canal management in Gujrat. The first contract pertains to surveillance, watch and ward of flood infrastructures in the S&I Sub Division Gujrat, with an estimated cost of Rs 2.16 million and earnest money of Rs 0.043 million. The second contract covers canal surveillance, watch and ward in Gujrat Canal Sub Division Gujrat, estimated at Rs 2.592 million with bid security of Rs 0.051 million. Both works are to be executed within a time frame of 30 June 2027. The tenders are being published on the PPRA E-Tendering System and E-Punjab portal in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 (as amended). These contracts form part of the routine operational and maintenance activities critical to flood management and canal system integrity in Punjab's irrigation infrastructure network.
Bidders must furnish earnest money or bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated cost as specified for each respective work. Contractors should ensure they meet standard eligibility criteria under PPRA regulations and possess relevant experience in surveillance and maintenance operations. All other terms and conditions remain as per the original tender documents published on 10 September 2026.
Bid documents were originally scheduled for submission with a closing date of 26 September 2026, but the corrigendum amends key dates for bid receiving and opening. Bidders are required to submit sealed bids by 01:00 on 03 October 2026, with bid opening scheduled for 01:30 on the same date.
