Description / Scope of Work
The Public Health Engineering Division, Sheikhupura invites sealed e-bids from eligible registered contractors for the Rehabilitation of Sewerage and Drainage Scheme at Ward No. 3 and 4, Mandialy, Tehsil Ferozewala, District Sheikhupura. The scope includes construction of drains, sullage carriers, PCC pavements, tuff tiles, RCC sewers, and installation of one complete 1-Cusec self-priming engine-driven dewatering pump set with allied works. The estimated project cost is Rs. 38,873,330 with a completion period of 4 months. This deposit work scheme is part of the approved development initiatives under MRS 2nd Bi Annual 2026 for the financial year 2026-27.
Eligible bidders must possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category for 2026-27, holding minimum PEC category C-5 or above with specialization codes CE01, CE09, and ME06. Bidders are mandatory to register on the EPADS 2.0 portal (www.ep.punjab.gov.pk) and must demonstrate at least one completed similar contract of at least Rs. 19,436,665 (50% of estimated cost). Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost, i.e., Rs. 1,943,666, must be submitted as a digital bid security in favour of the Executive Engineer. The bidding follows Single Stage Two Envelope procedure under PPRA Rules 2014.
Bids must be submitted through E-PADS up to 10:30 AM on 28th September 2026. Technical proposals will be opened on the same day at 02:30 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Division, Sheikhupura. Financial proposals shall remain sealed and be opened only for technically responsive bidders on a subsequently announced date. Bidders or their representatives must attend the technical bid opening.
