Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority invites proposals from reputable consulting engineering organizations and firms for consultancy services relating to design updation of guide banks and approach roads of an existing bridge across River Indus connecting Kallurkot D/S or U/S with D.I. Khan. This is a specialized engineering procurement for infrastructure improvement on a federal highway project in the Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. The scope encompasses comprehensive design review and updation to ensure structural safety and modern engineering standards for the bridge approaches and associated guide bank structures. Interested consulting firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and possess current tax compliance documentation with the Federal Board of Revenue.
Eligible consultants must hold valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration certificates in the relevant field and demonstrate active enrollment on the Federal Board of Revenue Tax Payer List. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes strictly in accordance with the Instructions to Consultants and RFP documentation. A pre-proposal conference has been scheduled for September 21, 2026 at 1100 hours at the office of the General Manager in Islamabad to clarify project requirements and answer technical questions. Bid security of Rs 1,000 (non-refundable) must accompany each proposal in favor of the National Highway Authority.

Technical proposals will be opened on October 8, 2026 at 1230 hours at NHA headquarters in Islamabad, with financial proposals of technically qualified firms to follow.
