Description / Scope of Work
WWF-Pakistan is seeking a consulting firm to provide monitoring and evaluation services for its ongoing Freshwater Programme partnership with Unilever. The assignment, to be undertaken from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, involves comprehensive M&E of field activities and water-related infrastructure interventions at Unilever's facilities in Lahore and the surrounding catchment area. The project focuses on enhancing water sustainability through rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge, wastewater treatment and reuse, and efficient water management measures. The selected consultant will conduct annual site visits to monitor implementation progress, verify the quality and functionality of interventions, assess outcomes including water savings and infrastructure performance, and identify implementation gaps.
The consulting firm must demonstrate substantial experience managing large-scale monitoring and evaluation projects, with proven capability to develop M&E plans, manage data collection and analysis, and produce high-quality technical reports. Experience with water sector projects is preferred. The firm should be staffed by professionals holding at least a bachelor's degree, preferably master's level, with backgrounds in M&E, data analysis, project management, or development projects. Excellent reporting and communication skills are essential. Bidders must comply with WWF's Fraud and Corruption Prevention and Investigation Policy and Environment Social & Safeguard guidelines for consultant agreements.
