Description / Scope of Work
The GE HQ NSC Chaklala, Rawalpindi invites pre-qualification applications from eligible contractors and firms for five categories of repair and renovation works within the Punjab region. The works comprise repair or renovation of officers accommodation in E/M, B/R and F/S sections, repair or renovation of JCO and JCWO quarters, and repair or renovation of miscellaneous accommodation facilities at the GE HQ NSC Chaklala premises. Each work package is valued at approximately Rs. 4.00 million. Applications must be submitted within fifteen days of publication on the PPRA website in accordance with PPRA Rule 13(1) of 2004. Tender documents will be delivered to qualified contractors at a later stage, with bids due by 1130 hours and opening scheduled for 1200 hours on dates specified in the formal Notice of Tenders. Only firms or contractors enlisted with MES in Category E and above and registered with PEC are eligible to apply. Contractors not listed on the MES approved list or those suspended from the approved list due to non-depositing of enhanced amounts must deposit 2% of the estimated cost as earnest money in the form of FDR, call deposit or equivalent security, duly pledged to GE HQ NSC Chaklala. This amount is refundable if contractors are not prequalified or do not secure the contract. Applicants must furnish a certificate of MES enlistment, statement of financial standing with bank certificates, details of staff employed, inventory of tools and plants, and documentation of previous experience with type and value of works completed within the last two years, all duly attested by a Class-I Gazetted Officer. Work details are available from the office of the concerned executive on any working day.
