For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
PAEC Hospital is purchasing civil, plumbing, carpentry, painting and masonry supplies under a one-year running contract framework.
The earnest deposit of Rs. 100,000 and tender fee of Rs. 2,000 suggest a medium-scale procurement. The two-envelope system is standard for government purchasing but requires careful documentation compliance. A key consideration is the one-year contract duration with extension possibility, indicating potential for ongoing business with a major federal healthcare institution if technically and financially competitive.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with income tax and sales tax departments. A letter of registration under Sales Tax Act 1990, valid tax registration number, and Active Taxpayer List certification are mandatory. Typically, suppliers in this category also require valid business registration and NTN. No PEC or engineering category appears applicable as this is goods procurement, not construction.
