Description / Scope of Work
The Nara Canal Division Khairpur in Sukkur, Sindh invites sealed bids for the significant infrastructure project involving the rehabilitation of the Upper Nara Canal from RD-00 to RD-72 under Package-A. This provincial government initiative is aimed at strengthening the water distribution network through the excavation of cunet and substantial bank strengthening measures, including the provision of stone pitching and stone aprons at various reaches along the canal. The project carries an estimated cost of 566.116 million Rupees and requires a performance period of twenty-four months for completion. Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-2 or above with specific specialization in relevant codes. Applicants are required to demonstrate financial stability with an average annual turnover matching the project cost and must have successfully executed similar civil works of at least eighty percent of the estimated cost within the last five years. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted to the Executive Engineer's office by 11:00 AM on 11 May 2026, accompanied by a five percent bid security."
