Metropolitan Corporation Lahore invites single-stage two-envelope bids for the supply and fixing of plastic body street lights with 40-watt LED bulbs across multiple union councils in the Shalamar Zone (UC No. 24, 26, 27, 28, 31, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 126, 127, 161, 164, 165, 166, 167) under NA-118, as well as maintenance and repair material supply in the same area. The estimated contract value is 40.750 million Pakistani rupees for new street light supply and 41.564 million rupees for M&R materials in Shalamar Zone, forming part of a larger 160-million-rupee multi-zone initiative across Ravi, Shalamar, Data Gunj Bakhsh, and Gulberg zones of Lahore. This is a critical infrastructure modernisation project deploying energy-efficient LED lighting across the provincial capital.
Eligible bidders must be registered manufacturers or authorised dealers with a minimum of five years overall experience and five years of relevant experience in street lighting, holding valid registration or renewal with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category. Bidders must submit security equivalent to 3 percent of the estimated cost via the e-Procurement portal. The bidding procedure follows open competitive bidding under Single Stage Two Envelope methodology, with technical evaluation preceding financial bid opening.
Bidding documents are available exclusively on the e-Procurement Punjab portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ and the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk/. Bids must be submitted electronically as PDF files on or before 5 October 2026 at 10:30 AM, with technical bid opening on the same day at 11:00 AM. Hard copy submissions will not be accepted. Only technically responsive bidders will qualify for financial bid evaluation. The procurement will be conducted under PPRA Rules 2014 and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024. Bids remain valid for 120 days.
