Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) invites bids for the disposal of scrap material under Tender No. 125/2026-27. The tender is issued by the Office of Director Procurement Distribution at MEPCO Headquarters on Khanewal Road, Multan City, Multan District, Punjab. This is a lot-based disposal contract where the successful bidder will be responsible for lifting and removing allocated scrap material from MEPCO stores. The contract requires 100 percent advance payment in addition to bid security, with completion of material lifting within 21 working days from the date of the release order. MEPCO reserves the right to reject any proposal and award to the highest per-unit rate bidder without taxes. The bidder must comply with all safety standards and provide necessary personal protective equipment to workers engaged in the lifting operation.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to hold either NADRA citizenship (CNIC/NICOP), FBR registration (NTN), or FBR registration (GSTN). The bid must remain valid for 120 days from the date of opening, and the interested firm must not be blacklisted or debarred by any organization in Pakistan. Bid security as per the tender advertisement conditions must be submitted from a scheduled bank of Pakistan in favor of the Chief Executive Officer MEPCO. The tender is advertised on a lot basis, and MEPCO reserves rights under PPRA Rule-33 regarding proposal rejection.
Bid documents should be obtained from MEPCO's office, and bids must be submitted before the deadline of tender opening time. No price adjustment shall be made for variations in market prices, taxes, duties, or wage changes. The contractor bears full responsibility for lifting costs, transportation, labor, and compliance with applicable taxes and levies. Any mishap to personnel during lifting operations remains the sole responsibility of the contractor.
