Description / Scope of Work
The National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad is inviting sealed bids for the supply and installation of 130 desktop computers to establish computer laboratory facilities at its Main Campus in Islamabad. The procurement encompasses high-specification tower casing units featuring Intel Core i7 13th generation processors, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD drives, 1Gbps LAN cards, 22-inch LED displays, keyboards, mice and standard accessories from OEM brands including HP, Dell, or Lenovo or equivalent models. The total estimated project value is approximately Rs. 2.21 million as indicated by the earnest money requirement, with the complete supply and installation to be completed within 60 days of order placement at the Main Campus location.
Bidders must be technically qualified and registered with relevant tax authorities (NTN, STN, or Professional Tax). Eligibility requires submission of NTN/STN certificates, OEM/MAL certificates from manufacturers, an affidavit confirming no blacklisting by government organizations, and bank statements demonstrating financial health for the preceding year. All bids must be accompanied by earnest money of Rs. 2,210,000 and a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 15,000, both submitted as bank drafts or pay orders in favour of the Rector-NUML. Quoted rates must be inclusive of all applicable taxes and remain valid for 90 days.
Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 platform by 15th October 2026 at 1100 hours, with physical sealed envelopes simultaneously deposited at the office of Director Administration, Jinnah Block. Bid opening will occur on the same date at 1130 hours in the presence of available bidders. The evaluation will be conducted on a technically qualified, financially lowest basis item-wise as per PPRA 36(a) rules. A 1-year warranty period applies from the date of successful installation and testing, during which 10 percent of the total bill will be retained as security.
