Description / Scope of Work
IBA Karachi invites requests for quotation for the disposal and collection of plastic bottle caps (19-litre water bottle caps) from its Main Campus on an as-is-where-is basis. The successful scrap buyer or service provider shall be responsible for arranging all labour, loading, unloading, transportation, containers, bags, loading equipment, safety gear and vehicles required for the collection and removal of material at their own cost and risk. The material will be weighed at the time of collection using either the bidder's calibrated weighing scale or IBA's weighing arrangement if available, with final payable quantity documented through a mutually agreed Weight Slip signed by both parties. The RFQ is issued from IBA's Main Campus located in Karachi, Sindh province.
Prospective bidders must conduct a mandatory site visit before submission of quotation to inspect the material, its quantity and condition, collection location and access requirements. Bidders should quote their purchase rate in Pakistani Rupees per kilogram. Any sorting, segregation, cleaning, bagging or other handling required shall be carried out at the bidder's own cost and responsibility unless explicitly agreed in writing by IBA Karachi. The bidder must ensure that personnel, vehicles, equipment and activities do not cause damage to IBA property, facilities or infrastructure during collection and removal operations.
Quotation submission deadline is 28 September 2026 at 10:30 AM via email or in-person submission at IBA Main Campus. Work will be awarded to the highest bidder who will be required to make full payment within three working days and complete collection, removal and transportation of the material within seven working days upon receiving the letter of acceptance. The successful buyer must ensure compliance with all government taxes, levies and charges as per relevant statutory rules.
