Description / Scope of Work
The Barani Agricultural Research Institute, Chakwal, invites sealed electronic bids for providing services related to conferences, workshops, seminars, festivals, exhibitions and training activities under the ADP Project titled Transformation of Agriculture in Pothohar. The tender comprises two service categories with a combined estimated value of PKR 4,200,000: services for conferences, workshops, seminars and festivals (PKR 2,500,000) and services for exhibitions and training (PKR 1,700,000). These services are linked to Citrus, High Value Crops and Groundnut project activities. The institute is located 4 km from Balkassar Interchange on the Talagang-Chakwal Road in Chakwal, Punjab, and will conduct all procurement activities through the Punjab e-Procurement system.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue for Income and Sales Tax, hold a Registration Certificate from the PRA, and be listed on the ATL (Active Taxpayers List). Bidders must be reputable service providers complying with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. A bid security of 3 percent of the estimated cost in digital form generated through PSID by the Punjab e-Procurement system is mandatory. The successful bidder will be required to sign a procurement contract and commence service delivery within 10 days of work order issuance; failure to meet this deadline will result in forfeiture of bid security.
Bidding documents are available immediately on the official Punjab E-Procurement website at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Sealed bids must be submitted electronically on or before Thursday 08 October 2026 at 11:00 hours; late submissions will not be entertained. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 11:30 hours in the presence of bidder representatives at the institute premises. Bidders must submit Income/Sales tax registration certificates and other required documents as specified in the tender document.
