Description / Scope of Work
The PWD Buildings Division Muzaffarabad invites sealed electronic bids for repair and renovation works at SKBZ Hospital and Cardiac Medical Hospital (CMH) Muzaffarabad in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The invitation covers two distinct packages: removing and refixing of roof tiles (khaprial) with roof treatment and waterproofing at CMH (estimated cost PKR 40,995,984.70); and renovation of washrooms with repair and replacement of sewerage lines at CMH (estimated cost PKR 28,464,775.37). Both works carry a completion period of 365 days and fall within the health infrastructure development scope for the region. Total estimated project value exceeds PKR 69 million.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the C&W or PP&H departments for e-bidding and hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license for the year 2026-27 endorsed by PWD AJK in category C-5 and above with specialization code CE-10. Bid security of PKR 1,230,000 is required for the roofing package and PKR 854,000 for the sewerage package. Bidders quoting 10–20% below estimated cost must submit 7% of engineer's estimate as additional security; those exceeding 20% below must deposit additional security equal to the bid-estimate difference. The employer reserves the right to reject all proposals and verify all submitted information, project references and financial records.
Bidding documents are available on the e-tender dashboard at https://cwdtenders.ajk.gov.pk/. Prospective bidders must obtain login credentials from the IT section, Office of Chief Engineer Building, PHE Block H DHQ Muzaffarabad. Bid security must be deposited into designated HABIB METROPOLITAN BANK, ALFALAH BANK, or AJK BANK accounts before submission. Electronic bids close on 12 October 2026 at 11:00 AM, with comparative statements visible immediately after opening. Hard copies of signed and stamped bids must be submitted within 48 hours of electronic submission.
