For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
A single-stage renovation contract for a bank facility in Karachi valued at approximately Rs.
13 million with a 45-day completion deadline. The two-envelope process requires strict compliance with technical specifications and inclusive tax pricing; non-compliant bids face automatic rejection. The tight 45-day execution window and prominent location suggest a high-visibility project, but the estimated cost suggests medium-scale scope suitable for established contractors with prior banking or commercial renovation experience.
Who can bid: The notice does not explicitly state PEC registration or contractor classification requirements. Typically for such bank renovation contracts in Pakistan, bidders are expected to hold valid PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) registration in relevant categories, NTN registration with FBR, and valid GST registration. Bidders must be able to provide bid security equivalent to 2% of estimated cost.
