Description / Scope of Work
The University of Education, Lahore invites sealed bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for five separate lots of original, repair and maintenance works under its Engineering Cell tender process. The works comprise construction of a new room for the water filtration plant at UE Jauharabad Campus, renovation of executive lodges at UE Township Campus Lahore, termite proofing in the education building at UE Township Campus, repair work of C Block at the Multan Campus, and removal and refixing of a car parking shed with tensile fabric at UE Township Campus Lahore. The estimated project value ranges from Rs. 937,052 to Rs. 2,193,914, with a combined scope spanning multiple university locations in Punjab province. Bids are invited through the Punjab E-Procurement portal with opening scheduled for 21-10-2026 at 11:00 AM at the Admin Block II Meeting Room.
Engineering firms and contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant category codes (C-6 or above, CE-10, EE-11) to participate. All bidders are required to register on the Punjab PPRA website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) and submit their e-bids through the Punjab E-Procurement System. A bid security of 2% of the estimated cost must be deposited electronically through the e-procurement facility. Any submission of false or fake information will result in immediate disqualification, blacklisting, and referral to PPRA and PEC for appropriate action and potential blacklisting from future university tendering.
Bid documents must be submitted electronically via the Punjab E-Procurement System before the closing date of 21-10-2026 at 11:00 AM. Contractors may attend the tender opening meeting where all bids will be retrieved and quoted rates announced in the presence of the tender opening committee. All tenders are subject to PPRA Rules-35 rejection provisions, and the procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids at any time prior to acceptance.
