Description / Scope of Work
The Rawalpindi North Forest Division at Kahuta, located in District Rawalpindi, Punjab, invites bids for maintenance of bigger size afforestation comprising 12,000 plants, with the contract covering 25 percent (3,000 plants) for first-year maintenance during coupe 2025-26 under the development project CMPP across multiple sites within the division. The estimated cost of the contract is approximately Rs. 1.7883 million, and works are to be completed during the financial year 2026-27. This is a specialized forestry maintenance operation requiring expertise in forest plantation care and establishment.
Eligible bidders must possess their own nursery and demonstrate well-documented forest-related experience with qualified staff. Contractors are required to furnish at least five prior work orders issued by the department, a valid NTN and GST number with FBR clearance, PEC registration in a relevant category, and proof of FBR tax returns for financial year 2025-26. Bid security of 5 percent of the estimated lot-wise amount must be provided in the form of a bank guarantee, with additional security equal to any discount offered below the estimated amount. Bidders must also maintain 10 percent of the estimated amount in a dedicated bank account with a fresh statement attached to the bid.

Complete electronic bids must be submitted online at www.ep.punjab.gov.pk by 14 October 2026 at 10:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:00 AM. All original bid security instruments must be physically delivered to the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Rawalpindi North Forest Division at Kahuta, prior to the closing date and time. Bidders must submit item-wise rates on a lot-wise basis; rates quoted as percentages or total amounts will be rejected. Bidders are required to provide a certificate guaranteeing execution as per specifications and acceptance of liability for free replacement if work is found substandard.
