Description / Scope of Work
The Office of GE (Army) Quetta-II, located on Zarghoon Road in Quetta, Balochistan, invites sealed tenders for multiple maintenance and repair works under PPRA Rule 13(1) of 2004. The procurement encompasses seven distinct work packages with a combined sanctioned cost exceeding Rs. 30 million. Work packages include repair and maintenance of residential and non-residential accommodation, abnormal repairs at various locations including Quetta, Zhob, Loralai and Chaman; repair works at Lav Block facilities; renovation of washroom and office areas at HQ 20 Brigade; renovation of 128-man accommodation; maintenance and deposit repairs for transport corps and dental corps vehicles and equipment; internal electrical and water supply contract for engineering and maintenance services; and bazaar supply of material and stores for B&R and E&M departments across all four locations.
Contractors must be enlisted with Military Engineering Services in Category E (minimum Rs. 150,000/-) or be approved contractors from central or provincial public works departments including KDA, CDA and WAPDA. Contractors not enlisted with MES shall deposit five percent of estimated cost as earnest money with a Schedule Bank of Pakistan. The tender must comprise two envelopes: one with the priced tender and another with priced bills of quantities, both duly sealed. If a non-MES contractor's bid is accepted, a security deposit of Rs. 150,000/- is required as demanded by the accepting officer.
Bid documents are available for examination at the office of the undersigned. Tenders must be quoted on the MES Schedule of Rates 2025 and must reach the office on or before 16 October 2026 at 11:00 hours, with opening scheduled for 11:30 hours the same day. All tender conditions, contract terms, schedules and drawings may be obtained from the office. The accepting authority reserves the right to accept or reject any tender subject to PPRA Rules 33(1).
