Description / Scope of Work
The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the supply, installation and commissioning of IT-related equipment and accessories as detailed in Annex-A of the tender documents. This single-stage two-envelope procurement covers equipment required for NUMS-KHINAMS and is being conducted in accordance with PPRA procedures. The selected vendor will be responsible for supplying equipment meeting provided specifications, installing items at designated locations as per end-user department instructions, and operationalizing all equipment to ensure full functionality within the timeframe specified by the procuring agency, including staff training where required. Bids must be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes marked Technical Proposals and Financial Proposals, inserted together in one outer envelope, with opening scheduled for 13th October 2026 at 10:00 hours.
Eligible bidders include suppliers, dealers, associations of firms, sole proprietors and joint ventures registered with relevant authorities including Income Tax, PPRA, Sales Tax and the Registrar of Companies. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if duly authorized by their competent forum. All bidders must maintain a valid bank account as NUMS makes payments through crossed cheque. For imported or high-end equipment, bidders must submit at bid submission time manufacturer authorization letters, CE Mark certificates, ISO certificates, Certificate of Origin and quality assurance documentation. A call deposit or bid security of 2 percent of total bid value is required in the form of CDR, DD or postal order.
Bids must be delivered in sealed envelopes marked with precise reference to this notice and sent by post, courier or hand delivery to NUMS address before 09:30 hours on 13th October 2026; documents sent via email or fax will not be accepted. Tender opening will occur publicly on the same day at 10:00 hours at Conference Room, NUMS (ATR), Adiyala Road opposite APS Humayun Road, Rawalpindi, in the presence of participating bidders or their authorized representatives. The successful bidder must complete supply of locally available equipment within 4 weeks and imported items within a maximum of 8 weeks from issuance of the final supply order. All material must be supplied as one consignment on the due date; no piecemeal supply will be accepted.
