Pakistan Ordnance Factories invites quotations for indigenous supplies under Tender Enquiry No. 0226/LP/SJL/56 dated 27 July 2026. This open competitive bidding for materials will be conducted using the Single Stage two envelope method as per PPRA Rule 36(b). Quotations must be submitted electronically via www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk before 30 minutes prior to the opening time on 22 October 2026 at 12:00 hours at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt, Punjab. The procurement encompasses supplies to be delivered free at POF's stores at Sanjwal on an F.O.R. basis inclusive of packing and forwarding charges, with Military Credit Note bookings arranged by the purchaser.
Eligible bidders must submit quotations accompanied by non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 500 by crossed postal or pay order, and bid security in the form of deposit at call receipt, pay order, or banker cheque from a scheduled bank. Registered indexed firms require 2% of quoted value (maximum Rs. 0.5 million); registered unindexed firms 3% (maximum Rs. 0.75 million); and unregistered firms 5% (maximum Rs. 1 million). Suppliers must furnish clearance certificates from the Excise & Taxation Department confirming payment of all professional taxes, and provide inspection facilities such as tools and test equipment in accordance with relevant specifications.
Quotations must remain valid for at least 90 days from tender opening and should hold good for any reduced or enhanced quantities without notice. Taxes and duties must be shown separately with proper registration references. Conditional or alternative offers will be ignored. Successful bidders must provide a performance bond not exceeding 10% of contract value within the specified timeframe. All offers received without bid security will not be entertained, and technical and commercial evaluation will be conducted strictly per PPRA rules with contracts awarded to the most advantageous bidder.
