Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila, through its Supply Chain Management Directorate located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers for the procurement of items as detailed in Annexure A of this tender. The tender is issued under PPRA and MoDP regulations on a single-stage two-envelope basis on an FOR (Free on Rail) basis. The delivery period is three months after signing of the contract. Bidders must possess valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration where applicable. The tender document is available on the PPRA website, and bids must be submitted by 15 October 2026 at 1030 hours, with opening scheduled for 1100 hours on the same date.
Eligibility requirements include submission of photocopy of registration or pre-qualification letters from HIT, DGP, MoDP or government organizations; attested copies of Sales Tax registration and NTN certificates; audit reports for the last three financial years; attested bank statements for one year; attested CNIC of the CEO or Director; and for distributors or agents, proof of trade link with the Original Equipment Manufacturer. Bidders must also provide documentary evidence of contracts executed in the last three financial years with government or semi-government organizations, and a certificate on judicial paper worth Rs 100 attested by an Oath Commissioner confirming the firm is neither blacklisted, suspended, nor debarred by any government organization.
Bid documents must include a postal order of Rs 2000 enclosed with the Technical Bid in favor of the Director Supply Chain Management Directorate.
