Description / Scope of Work
The Horticultural Research Institute in Faisalabad, Punjab invites sealed e-tenders for the procurement of an 85-HP tractor under the project Establishment of Horticulture Research. This competitive bidding process is conducted via the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and 2024 e-submission regulations. The required equipment must be a diesel-powered, water-cooled tractor with a lift capacity of at least 2145 kg and hydrostatic power steering. Eligible bidders must be well-reputed firms registered with the Federal Board of Revenue for Income Tax and the Punjab Revenue Authority for Sales Tax for the 2025-26 financial year. A bid security of 100,000 Rupees, representing two percent of the five million Rupee estimated cost, is required in the form of a CDR or Demand Draft. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted electronically through the EPADS portal while original hard copies of the bid security and signed documents must be delivered to the Chief Scientist office. The final deadline for the submission and opening of these bids is 11:00 AM on 13 May 2026.
