Description / Scope of Work
The Irrigation Department, Government of the Punjab in Jhelum, Punjab invites sealed e-tenders through the Jhelum Canal Division for the essential repair of the downstream glacis floor at the Rehmanpur Level Crossing. This infrastructure maintenance project has a total estimated cost of approximately 1.03 million Rupees and aims to ensure the structural integrity of the irrigation system. The scope of work involves detailed technical tasks including bailing out water using mechanical pumps, borrow pit excavation for ordinary soil, and the supply and filling of jute bags with sand or earth. Furthermore, the contract requires extensive coursed and random rubble masonry utilizing a specific mortar ratio. Bidders must also account for the carriage of stone from the Sikhanwali quarry with an estimated lead distance of 191 kilometers. To be eligible, participating firms must hold a valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category for the 2025-26 fiscal year and be active tax payers with the Punjab Revenue Authority. Interested contractors must submit their technical and financial proposals via the EPADS portal no later than 12:00 PM on 14 May 2026
