Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General of Agriculture (Extension), Punjab in Lahore, Punjab invites sealed e-tenders for the procurement of high-quality tractors under the Wheat Incentive Program 2025-26. This significant agricultural project involves the purchase of three distinct categories of 2WD tractors including an 85 HP unit, a 75 HP unit, and a 60 HP unit to support regional farming initiatives. The total estimated procurement cost is approximately 11.5 million Rupees, with individual tractor prices ranging from 2.8 million to 4.9 million Rupees depending on the horsepower and specifications. Bidding will be conducted through the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure via the EPADS system. Eligible bidders must be local manufacturers registered with the Engineering Development Board and maintain active status with FBR and PRA authorities. Each bid requires a 5 percent security deposit based on the estimated price. All technical specifications must align with the provincial standards for engine performance and hydraulic lifting capacity. The final deadline for electronic submission of proposals through the EPADS portal is 10:00 AM on 18 May 2026, followed by a technical bid opening at the Agriculture House shortly thereafter.
