Description / Scope of Work
The Panjnad Headworks Division in Panjnad, Punjab invites bids for the remodeling and protection of the Left Marginal Bund (LMB) and Right Marginal Bund (RMB) within critical reaches. This significant infrastructure project involves extensive earthwork and structural reinforcement to ensure bund stability. Key activities include over 2.4 million cubic feet of excavation for drains and irrigation channels, the supply and dumping of 1.4 million cubic feet of stone or boulders for apron protection, and providing filter materials of various grades for both slope and level portions. The project also requires stone pitching for top layers, compaction of earthwork to 90 percent maximum modified AASHTO dry density, and the carriage of materials over a 205 km lead from Sakhi Sarwar to the site. Interested contractors must provide unit rates for all fifteen items listed in the Bill of Quantities, which cover excavation, sub-grade preparation, and specialized material transport. The work is overseen by the Executive Engineer of the Panjnad Headworks Division.
