Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer of the Jhelum Canal Division, Punjab Irrigation Department, invites electronic bids for the procurement of reserve stock of stone at guide walls on River Jhelum in the Rajar Section. This infrastructure project is essential for flood protection and riverbank stabilization. The procurement follows a single stage single envelope bidding procedure via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS). Eligible engineering firms and contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category. The estimated cost of the work (excluding the cost of stone) is approximately 14.1 million PKR, with a required earnest money deposit of 3% (Rs. 423,040). Bidders must be active taxpayers and registered with the PRA. The project has a stipulated completion period of 30 days. Interested parties must submit their technical and financial bids electronically through the EPADS portal no later than 11:30 AM on 22 May 2026, where they will be opened shortly thereafter.
