Description / Scope of Work
The Bhalwal Canal Division of the Punjab Irrigation Department in Sargodha invites sealed tenders for essential flood protection and erosion control works. The project specifically addresses the erosion caused by the River Chenab on the right side near Village Ghuna Pathana in Tehsil Kot Momin. This critical infrastructure project, with an estimated civil work cost of 50.315 million Rupees, aims to protect local communities and agricultural land from riverine encroachment. The scope of work includes the construction of protective spurs, stone pitching, and embankments. Eligible contractors must be pre-registered with the Irrigation Department for the current financial year and possess a valid license from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category. Bidding will be conducted through the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. A bid security of 2.516 million Rupees (5% of the estimated cost) is required. Detailed bidding documents and technical specifications can be obtained from the Executive Engineer's office in Bhalwal. All completed bids must be submitted by the specified deadline for public opening at the Divisional office.
