Description / Scope of Work
The University of Gujrat in Gujrat, Punjab invites interested individuals and contractors to participate in a public auction for old, unserviceable building materials. The auction items are being sold on an 'as is where is' basis and include bricks, doors, windows, T-iron bars, rolling shutters, girders, and various miscellaneous construction scrap material stemming from dismantled or old university houses and shops. The total estimated worth of the auction assets is fixed at 5.2 million Rupees. Prospective bidders are required to bring their original National Identity Cards and submit a refundable earnest money deposit of 250,000 Rupees in the form of a pay order made out to the Treasurer, University of Gujrat. Contractors currently working with the university must secure clearance certificates from both the Treasury Office and the Estate Office prior to participating. The successful bidder will be obligated to pay 50% of the total bid value along with 100% of applicable government taxes immediately on the spot. Relevant bid documents and credentials must be submitted to the Office of the Incharge Estate Center no later than 10:00 AM on 03 June 2026, and the official public auction will commence immediately at the same location.
