The Office of the Superintending Engineer (Korangi District), Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) in Karachi, Sindh invites sealed electronic tenders through the EPADS system for public infrastructure civil works. The specialized engineering project focuses on the improvement of the water supply system in existing urban areas of Bilal Zone, Korangi District, specifically targeting Ghazi Abad, Mureed Colony, Masood Public Colony, Pak Kausar Colony, and Muzaffarabad Khokhrapar. The scope of work involves replacing broken, damaged, and old internal pipelines with 4-inch and 6-inch diameter lines, alongside technical interventions at the 45-Feet Road, which include interconnected installations of 250mm PE lines from old distribution connections and structural adjustments to the existing AC pipeline system. Participating construction firms must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license for the current year in Category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-09 and CE-10, and must maintain active registrations with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), and provincial excise departments. The total estimated cost of this civil engineering work stands at approximately 17.641 million Rupees, requiring a tender document fee of 10,000 Rupees. Properly compiled electronic bids, along with uploaded proof of required technical qualification parameters and a mandatory percentage of earnest money calculated against the total estimated cost, must be submitted securely via the designated e-procurement web portal prior to the evaluation opening deadline.
