Description / Scope of Work
DHQ Teaching Hospital Kohat, located in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids through EPADs for two procurement contracts under OGDCL allocated funds for the financial year 2025-26. The first contract concerns repair and strengthening work as detailed in the Statement of Business Details (SBD), with a bid security requirement of PKR 80,000. The second contract involves the purchase of ENT, Eye, and Ortho instruments also as mentioned in the SBD, requiring a bid security of PKR 50,000. These procurements are conducted in accordance with Rule 6 (2) (a) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) Rules 2014.
Bidders must be registered for Income Tax, General Sales Tax (GST), and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), and must appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Bid security must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) issued in favour of the Medical Superintendent, DHQ Teaching Hospital Kohat. All quotations must be computer-typed and printed on the bidder's official letterhead with relevant documents sealed and signed on each page. No conditional or alternative tenders will be accepted, and bidders must offer their most competitive rates as no negotiation on quoted prices is permitted.
Standard bidding documents including a detailed equipment list are available on EPADs. Sealed bids must be submitted through EPADs to the hospital's office by 11:30 AM on 11th June 2026 and will be opened at 12:30 PM the same day by the Institutional Tender Opening and Selection Committee at the Conference Room of DHQ Teaching Hospital Kohat in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The rates quoted will remain valid until 30th June 2027. All applicable government taxes will be deducted as per prevailing government rules. The competent authority reserves the right to reject all bids under rule 47 of the KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014.
