Description / Scope of Work
Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Islamabad invites bids for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air conditioning system under procurement activity reference 31/2025-26. This project is part of the university's planned procurement activities for the financial year 2026-27 and represents infrastructure investment for the main campus in Islamabad, Federal Territory. The scope encompasses complete VRF turnkey solution delivery on a duty paid and active taxpayer basis, with delivery required at AIOU's main campus on Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms.
Bidders must be eligible suppliers or firms registered with the relevant authorities and capable of executing such specialized HVAC installations. A bid security of the required amount as specified in the bidding document must accompany each bid submission, uploaded through the e-PADS system with hardcopy submission as instructed. Bidders should possess appropriate licenses and experience in VRF system installations, and compliance with all regulatory requirements is mandatory.
The bidding process follows the Single Stage-One Envelope procedure under Public Procurement Rules 2004. Complete bidding documents are available for download from the e-PADS portal (https://eprocure.gov.pk) at no cost. Bids must be submitted electronically through e-PADS by 1030 hours PST on 15 June 2026, with a pre-bid meeting scheduled for 1 June 2026 at 1100 hours Pakistan Standard Time via Google Meet at https://meet.google.com/xgt-vgyp-jos. The bid opening will occur on 15 June 2026 at 1100 hours PST in Room No. 168, Academic Complex, AIOU Main Campus, Sector H-8, Islamabad.
