Description / Scope of Work
SBP Banking Services Corporation invites electronic bids from registered suppliers for the procurement of Maintenance Free Dry Batteries for ABB 200KVA UPS planned during the financial year 2025-26. The procurement is being conducted under the Public Procurement Rules 2004 with the reference number GSU/PEW/ 493376/ UPS Batteries / 2025-26. Eligible bidders must be registered with PPRA for E-Procurement on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) and possess Income and Sales Tax registration with active taxpayer status on the Federal Board of Revenue active taxpayers list. The bidding shall follow Rule 35(b) Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure in compliance with all applicable Public Procurement Regulatory Authority guidelines and regulations. Part of the procurement proceeds will be utilized to cover eligible payments under the contract.
All prospective bidders must provide bid security in the form of an acceptable bank guarantee amounting to PKR 150,000 (Rupees One Hundred Fifty Thousand only) in favor of SBP Banking Services Corporation. Bidders are required to upload a scanned copy of the original bid security on EPADS. Unregistered bidders may first register on the EPADS portal at https://eprocure.gov.pk or contact PPRA's technical team for registration assistance. The original bid security must be submitted to the procuring agency on or before the closing date and time of bid submission, otherwise the bid shall be rejected.
Electronic bids must be submitted through EPADS on or before 09 June 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Electronic bids will be opened publicly on the same day at 11:30 AM at the Meeting Room, M Floor, SBP Banking Services Corporation, Peshawar, Saddar Road, Peshawar. Detailed tender documents containing specifications, terms, conditions and requirements are available on EPADS at https://portal.eprocure.gov.pk for registered bidders. If the bid opening date falls on a public holiday, bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.
