Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers for the procurement of Battery Car 8 Ton x 8M under reference Bid No. 5126/IT-6703/GF/FOR (A)/2026-27/SCM dated 20 July 2026. The requirement specifies a quantity of battery-powered industrial cars with 8-ton capacity and 8-meter length. Delivery is required within two months of contract signing. The procurement is advertised on the PPRA website and follows PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP) regulations. This is a single-stage, two-envelope competitive bidding process conducted on a FOR (Free on Rail) basis from HIT's Taxila Cantt facility.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration where applicable. Bidders are required to submit certification from Sales Tax Department, audit reports covering the last three financial years, attested bank statements for one year, copy of CNIC of the Chief Executive or Director, and a certificate attested by an Oath Commissioner confirming the firm is not blacklisted, suspended, or debarred by any government organization. Authorized dealers and distributors must provide proof of trade linkage with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Documentary evidence of prior contracts or work experience with government or semi-government organizations during the last three financial years is mandatory. A postal order of Rs 2,000 in favour of the Director SCM, HIT Taxila, must accompany the technical bid.
