Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Irrigation Department, Shujabad Canal Division, Multan invites electronic bids for providing and laying shingle on top of Chenab Flood Bund from RD 28+000 to 46+500 in Binda Canal Sub Division, Binda. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 23,633,486 and the work must be completed by 30 June 2026. This is an item rate basis contract under the MRS 1st Half 2026 Bi-Annual period (1 January to 30 June 2026) for District Khanewal, advertised through the PPRA E-tendering system in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 (amended to date).
Eligible bidders must be engineering firms or contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with CE-04 specialization code and registered with Punjab PPRA. Contractors must submit valid PEC registration for 2025-26, government receipts for professional tax payment, CNIC, enlistment/renewal fees, and Punjab Revenue Authority registration for 2025-26. Bid security of Rs. 1,181,674 (5% of estimated cost) must be submitted as a Bank Guarantee or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank in favour of the Executive Engineer, Shujabad Canal Division, Multan.
Bid documents are available free of cost on the EPADS website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Interested contractors must upload bids on EPADS by 11 June 2026 at 12:00 PM and submit original CDR/Bank Guarantee with attested PEC registration to the Executive Engineer's office on the same date. Bid opening will take place on 11 June 2026 at 12:30 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Shujabad Canal Division, Multan, where successful bidders will be announced. The successful bidder must furnish a performance guarantee of 10% of contract amount within 15 days and mobilize to site within 7 days of acceptance letter issuance.
