Description / Scope of Work
Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture, Multan invites tenders from engineering firms and contractors for four major construction projects on an item rates basis under the PPRA E-Tendering System. The scope includes construction of pre-cast boundary walls with columns and planks totaling 840 running feet around the new girls hostel and waste material cover area, extension of an existing motorcycle parking shed measuring 100 feet by 34 feet at Block B, and construction of farm offices and store facilities at C-Block. The total estimated value across all four lots ranges from 1.99 million to 7.86 million Pakistani rupees, with individual bid security requirements of 2 percent of the estimated cost. All works are located at the university campus in Multan, Punjab, with a completion period of three months for each contract. The tender notice is issued by the Office of the Executive Engineer, Engineering Construction Department.
Eligible participants must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes, and must also be registered on the Punjab PPRA Website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Contractors and firms are required to submit earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt favoring the Treasurer of MNS University of Agriculture, Multan at 2 percent of the estimated bid cost. The CDR must be uploaded online up to thirty minutes before the tender opening time, with the original document submitted physically to the tender opening committee on the same day. Contractors must fill rates against items of work on the PPRA website and are advised to review the complete tender documents available on the provincial procurement portal.
Bids will be received until 02:00 PM on June 5, 2026, with opening scheduled at 02:30 PM the same day at the office of the Project Director, MNS University of Agriculture, Multan. Contractors may attend the bid opening in person or provide power of attorney to a representative. All submission of fake information, documents, or false CDRs will result in immediate disqualification and blacklisting of the contractor or firm from future tendering processes at the university. Further recommendations will be made to PPRA and PEC for appropriate action.
