Description / Scope of Work

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority in Lahore, Punjab invites electronic bids from eligible bidders registered on EPADS for the procurement of IT equipment under the project titled Bananas in Pakistan's Bioeconomy. This initiative, aimed at transforming waste into textile, is jointly executed by SMEDA and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, utilizing a grant received from the Global Environment Facility. The procurement will follow the Single Stage One Envelope method in line with Public Procurement Rules 2004, utilizing the Least Cost Selection method. Bids are categorized into three lots, requiring respective bid security amounts of 175,000 Rupees, 20,000 Rupees, and 60,000 Rupees. Scanned copies of the bid security must be uploaded via EPADS, with original guarantees submitted to the Outsourcing Management Division at Aiwan-e-Iqbal Complex on Egerton Road. Comprehensive electronic bidding documents can be accessed online, and all final proposals must be submitted electronically through the EPADS system no later than 1:00 PM on 11 June 2026.
