Description / Scope of Work
The University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Building and Works Department invites tenders for the special repair of two hostel buildings at Rachna College of Engineering and Technology, Gujranwala (RCET), located in Punjab. The estimated cost of this project is Rs. 3,561,570, with a completion period of two months. This is a Single Singe One Envelope Bidding Procedure tender advertised through the Punjab Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) E-Tendering system for the financial year 2025-26, open to contractors and firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council and with valid PRA registration and active tax payer status for the year 2025-26.
Eligible contractors and firms must be registered on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and possess valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration. Interested participants are required to submit earnest money in the form of Crossed Demand Draft (CDR) at two percent of the estimated project cost in favour of the Project Director UET Lahore. All technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee, and tender documents must be submitted in original form before 11:00 AM on or before 10-06-2026 (Wednesday). Bids must be quoted through the electronic system without cutting or amendments, and no tender will be accepted without earnest money.
Bidding documents are available for download from the PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk, EPADS at https://eprocure.gov.pk, and the University of Engineering and Technology website. Contractors must attend the office of the Project Director at Building and Works Department, UET Lahore on or before the tender closing date to submit the CDR in original form. The project falls under PEC Category C-6 or above.
