Description / Scope of Work
The District & Sessions Judge, Sheikhupura invites sealed competitive bids from registered firms and authorized dealers for the purchase of furniture articles for the financial year 2025-26. The estimated tender value is Rs. 9,800,000 with a bid security requirement of Rs. 490,000 representing five percent of the estimated cost. This procurement is for furnishing and equipment needs of the judicial establishment in Sheikhupura, Punjab. Bidders must be duly registered with the Sales Tax, Income Tax, Professional Tax and Punjab Sales Tax authorities, and should possess previous experience in similar purchases. The tender falls under the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 and is governed by PPRA Rules, 2014.
Eligible bidders must submit all required documentation including GST, PST and income tax registration certificates, valid till 30 June 2026. A mandatory bid security deposit amounting to five percent of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of call deposits or CDRs in favor of the District & Sessions Judge, Sheikhupura. The successful bidder shall provide a performance guarantee equivalent to ten percent of the contract value or through a bank draft, to be refunded upon successful completion and delivery of items as per the purchase order timeline.
Bid documents are available on the PPRA website and the e-PADS portal (https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk) from where eligible bidders may download the bidding documents. All bids must be submitted electronically on e-PADS by 09:00 AM on 8 June 2026 and shall be opened on the same date at the office of the District & Sessions Judge, Sheikhupura. Further information and assistance may be obtained from the Accounts Branch, office of the District & Sessions Judge, Sheikhupura. The tender procedure follows Single Stage Single Envelope bidding as per Rule 38(1) of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014. The Authority reserves the right to reject any bid as per Rule 35 of the PPRA Rules, 2014.
