Description / Scope of Work
The Police Department, Operations Wing, Lahore invites electronic bids from registered trading firms for the purchase of miscellaneous items and repair services under a framework contract for the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement covers five categories with a grand total estimated cost of PKR 296,000,000, including tents and tarpals (PKR 60 lakh), building repairs (PKR 12 crore), transport repairs including batteries, tyres and filters (PKR 13 crore), machinery and equipment repairs (PKR 2 crore), and furniture fixture repairs (PKR 2 crore). This is a framework agreement valid until 30 June 2027, with supplies and services to be delivered to the DIG/Operations Office located opposite Government Islamia College, Civil Lines, near District Courts in Lahore, Punjab.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department, Sales Tax Department, and Professional Tax authority. Bidders are required to submit original bid security instruments equivalent to three percent of the estimated cost in the form of Call Deposit Receipt, Bank Guarantee, Demand Draft, or Pay Order from a scheduled bank, before the electronic bid submission deadline. Technical samples, brochures, and catalogues with detailed specifications for each item are mandatory. Importers claiming tax exemptions must provide FBR certificates in their own names; tax-inclusive rates are required from all other vendors. Bidders must declare freedom from any criminal fraud charges or blacklisting by other procuring agencies.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA website (http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and the ePADS portal (http://punjab.procure.gov.pk). Complete electronic bids must be submitted online through the e-Procurement System at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk by 11:00 AM on 13 August 2026. Bid opening will commence at 11:30 AM the same day. Original bid security instruments must be physically delivered to DIG/Operations Office, Lahore in sealed envelopes marked with the bidding document number and title before the electronic submission deadline.
