Rehabilitation and Improvement of Moharrum Route in Chakwal City

Municipal Committee Chakwal invites e-bids from eligible contractors and firms for the rehabilitation and improvement of the Moharrum Route with allied works in Chakwal City in preparation for Moharrum-ul-Haram 2026. The project is valued at Rs. 5,000,000 and encompasses infrastructure improvements and related works to enhance the route for the religious procession. The scope includes rehabilitation, improvement, and allied infrastructure works across the designated Moharrum route within Chakwal City, Punjab. The work must be completed in accordance with the technical specifications and design standards outlined in the tender documents.

Eligible bidders must be registered on e-PADS, FBR, and Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) with Active Filer status, including valid NTN and PNTN certificates. Contractors and firms must submit bid security equivalent to 16% of the estimated cost (Rs. 250,000) in the form of CDR, Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Banker's Cheque in favor of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Chakwal. Bids must be properly signed and stamped, with rates quoted item-wise against each DNIT/BOQ item in both figures and words. Insurance bonds are not accepted, and fake or forged documents will result in disqualification, blacklisting, and legal action.

Bids must be submitted exclusively through e-PADS by 11:05 AM on 08.06.2026, with opening scheduled for 11:35 AM on the same day. Hard copies of bid security must be submitted to the office of Municipal Committee Chakwal by 10:00 AM on the closing date. A single-stage, one-envelope bidding procedure will be adopted.
