Description / Scope of Work
The Indent and Purchase Section, Karachi, operating under the Pakistan Meteorological Department, invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of a 20KVA solar system under FY 2025-26 budget allocation. This national-level procurement is conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS v2.0) using a Single Stage-One Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules 2004. The procuring agency is located at Met. Complex, Gulistan-e-Johar, Block-5, University Road, Karachi, in Sindh Province.
Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 prior to submission and are required to furnish bid security in the form of a Pay Order or a Bid Security Declaration as specified in the bidding document. All eligible bidders from within Pakistan may participate in this procurement. The bidding documents contain detailed technical specifications, terms and conditions, eligibility criteria, and evaluation parameters necessary for preparing competitive bids.
E-bidding documents are available on EPADS at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 on or before June 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM, with electronic bid opening scheduled for the same day at 10:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted.
