Description / Scope of Work
The Indent and Purchase Section, Karachi under the Pakistan Meteorological Department invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of computers, printers and hardware accessories. This is a national-level goods procurement for the financial year 2025-26, conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 using a Single Stage-One Envelope tender process with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in compliance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004. The procurement is planned for the Met. Complex located in Gulistan-e-Johar, Block-5, University Road, Karachi in Sindh Province.
All bidders must be duly registered on EPADS v2.0 and must submit bids electronically through the platform. Bidders are required to furnish bid security in the form of a Pay Order as described in the bidding document, or alternatively submit a Bid Security Declaration if the Procuring Agency does not require bid security. Bidders must meet the eligibility criteria specified in the tender documents and fulfill all technical and financial requirements outlined in the evaluation criteria.
Bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 on or before Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 11:30 AM, with electronic bids opening on the same day at 12:00 PM. Complete bidding documents are available on the EPADS portal at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Manual bid submission will not be entertained. For grievances, the Grievance Redressal Committee has been notified under Rule 48 of the Public Procurement Rules 2004.
