Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Irrigation Department, Bhalwal Drainage Division, Bhalwal invites sealed tenders on an item rate basis for the restoration of the gauge reader hut at RD Maddokana Guide Wall Spur in Sargodha district. The estimated cost of this civil works project is Rs. 13,73,493 (Rupees Thirteen Lac, Seventy Three Thousand Four Hundred and Ninety Three Only) with a project completion timeline of 30 June 2026. This is a percentage/item rate tender and contract for works issued under the Single Stage Single Envelope bidding procedure from engineering firms and contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council, operating under the Market Rate System from 1 January 2026 to 30 June 2026 in accordance with PPRA E-Tendering System and Punjab Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) rules.
Contractors and engineering firms must be registered with Punjab PPRA at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. All participating firms must submit earnest money/bid security at 5% of the estimated cost, which amounts to Rs. 68,675. The bid security should be furnished in the form of a Bank Guarantee or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from any scheduled bank in Pakistan. Firms must be duly licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council and comply with all relevant PPRA Rules 2014 (amended to date) and Standard Contract Agreement provisions.
Bid documents containing detailed requirements, terms and conditions are available free of cost on the EPADS website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. All intending firms must upload the bid security/earnest money and financial bids on the EPADS website by 09 June 2026 up to 11:00 AM. Tender opening will take place on 09 June 2026 at 11:30 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer Bhalwal Drainage Division Bhalwal at Sargodha, where all bids will be retrieved and opened by the Committee in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The successful bidder must execute an agreement within 15 days of acceptance letter issuance and provide a time-bound execution schedule within 7 days thereof.
