Description / Scope of Work
The Department of Irrigation and Small Dams, Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, invites sealed bids for the construction of a tube well at Dhangal Park in Tehsil Dadyal, District Mirpur under the development scheme titled Dhangal Public Recreational Park Dadyal Mirpur. This procurement is conducted under PPRA rules 36(a) following a Single Stage One Envelope tendering process. The project is located in Mirpur, AJK, and aims to develop essential water supply infrastructure for the recreational park facility.
Bidders must meet specific eligibility criteria to participate. Prospective contractors are required to possess SECP registration, valid NTN and STRN certificates, and a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration certificate. Firms must demonstrate relevant experience in installation of agricultural tube wells for at least the past five years within AJK and provide a comprehensive list of completed and ongoing projects of similar nature. A recent affidavit on stamp paper, duly attested by an oath commissioner, is mandatory confirming that the firm has neither been blacklisted nor had any contract rescinded for non-fulfillment of contractual obligations. In the case of joint ventures involving NGOs and contractors, documentary proof must be provided on stamp paper. Bid security amounting to PKR 70,000 in the form of a CDR favoring the SDO/DDO Deputy Director Irrigation & Small Dams must be enclosed with technical bids.
Tender documents containing full details of terms and conditions can be obtained from the office of the District In-Charge/Deputy Director Irrigation Mirpur during office hours from 0830 to 1630 hours upon written request and payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 3,000 up to June 10, 2026. Sealed bids must be submitted by June 11, 2026 on or before 1100 hours. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 in the presence of bidders who choose to attend. The department reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with AJK PPRA rule 33. All applicable taxes and duties under AJK law will be applicable upon tender award.
